Think in English

We all don’t necessarily have English as our native language, so the part which comes to an obstacle between us comprehending English and speaking it fluently is our mind. How?

Let me tell you a small story…

Pasta’s Voyage

Once Pasta flew to America which was a foreign land for him, so the biggest barrier for him was of language since Pasta was Italian and didn’t know a lot of English(just the listening part was clear). So he used a small trick. He started listening very carefully to the native Americans as well as comprehending their talks at the same time.

The main part to be noticed here was his comprehension. He was not translating English words into Italian for their understanding, instead used a small English dictionary app that just simplified the meaning of any word using an appropriate example in much-simplified English. Eg: The lecture comprised of all the relevant nitty-gritty got converted to The lecture comprised of all the minute details.

He also started doing his self-talks in English which eventually got him to the next level.

And soon Pasta got a Green card 😂.

After that, he used the very same trick for other Asian countries as well and got their status of residentship too 🙄😂. That’s why pasta got messed up with many kinds of stuff 😂.

Global Pasta

So the thing to be emphasized and to be noted down from this journey of Pasta is his quick ways of learning English.

Let’s quote the main points:

  • Always follow the approach of thinking and comprehending in English as it will improve your vocabulary as well your speaking and writing skills.
  • Practice self-talks in free time on any of your favorite topic or even your daily stuff in English only.
  • Have weekly healthy discussions with your friends/colleagues/ family members in English if possible.
  • Use Google or any dictionary app to instantly grab the meaning of any unfamiliar word you encounter in any setting of the day.

The first step will be a bit uncomfortable for you as well as for others, but eventually, you will start feeling confident in your grammar skills, vocabulary, word selection, writings, etc.

Just try yourself following the above steps, who knows you may end up being another Pasta story 🤭, traveling around the World.

Thanks for reading my self-made Pasta story😁.

Now it’s your turn, enjoy the process of learning with your Pasta method.
