Everything else is just sand in the jar…

Though it is true that a quote is worth a million pictures but this image shown above is worth a million quotes!

Through this picture, we can see how the maximum proportion in the jar of our life is filled with the things we refer to as “values” and the rest of the remaining part is just gravel.

So let’s see what I mean by the word “values” and why it is making up most of the part of the jar(of life).

I like doodles, so let me explain with the help of a doodle…

Venn of life

The picture shows three items: Service, Meaning, Material and there is a region where all three of them intersect and that is what we refer to as “Value”.

The real value of an individual is shown in three major parameters of life(Though there are several aspects to consider depending on individual levels, I have considered the three most relevant) shown by service, meaning, and material.

We all see various examples of success around us let it be in the field of education or politics, finance or medical, fashion or media, technology or industry…you just name it.

The common point to consider in all of these examples is not just their material wealth, outstanding intellect, or network reach but the hidden pattern of their value system. This system includes a lot of subtle forms of discipline, dedication, persistence, willpower, teamwork, and many more.

“Value” is the thread which binds all other aspects of our life

Here in the picture, value(purpose, discipline, dedication, can-do attitude, persistence, resilience) is the key that will help you finding something which adds meaning to your life, gives you enough material to make both ends meet, and serves society too.

When you find your value, give value to it.

Now it’s your turn to fill the jar of your life with something truly worthy.

If my ideas inclined somewhat with yours, smash that 👏 as a Hi-5 😁.

Thank you for your visit.
